Basketball Recap: Fort Lupton Bluedevils vs. The Academy Wildcats
Fort Lupton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 56-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Academy Wildcats.
Fort Lupton's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marely Gomez, who went 7 for 15 on her way to 17 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kianna Lenox, who posted eight points in addition to eight boards and eight blocks.
