Soccer Recap: Alexandria-Monroe Comes Up Short

Alexandria-Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Daleville Broncos, falling 10-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Alexandria-Monroe were already down 6-0.

Alexandria-Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Daleville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alexandria-Monroe will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Elwood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Daleville, they will head out to square off against Hauser at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Daleville will need to watch out since Hauser have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.
