Softball Recap: Chesapeake Finds Home Field Redemption Against Green

There's no place like home for Chesapeake, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 14-11 victory over the Green Bobcats on Monday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

The team relied heavily on Angel Hundley, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Jaeden Anderson was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Chesapeake's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2.
