Volleyball Recap: Whetstone Comes Up Short

Whetstone lost against Chillicothe back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Braves came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 3-0. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Whetstone ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 25-21.

Whetstone's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Chillicothe, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Whetstone is set to take on their familiar foe Bishop Watterson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Chillicothe will challenge rival Grove City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
