Union Grove is on  a  four-game streak of home wins, while Mishicot is on  an  11-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Broncos will host the Indians  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Thursday, Union Grove got the win against Beloit Memorial  by a conclusive  12-2. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Purple Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
 Ciara Hage looked comfortable as she  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.
 On the hitting side,  Emma Santarelli was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March.  McKenna Bones was another key player,  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Union Grove  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 13  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Beloit Memorial only managed four  hits.
Meanwhile, while Mishicot put up plenty of  runs on Friday, the same  can't be said for Sevastopol. The Indians were the clear victors by  a  16-0 margin over the Pioneers.
 Kiran Sanford made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Kaelin Adair was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. Another player making a difference was  Kasey Brouchoud, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Union Grove's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Mishicot, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.
