Volleyball Recap: Norwell Knights vs. DeKalb Barons
Norwell was the 3-1 winner over DeKalb when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Norwell Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DeKalb Barons on Thursday.
Norwell started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-16, 25-23, 25-22.
Despite the loss, Norwell still got an impressive performance from Autumn Lee, who had 17 digs.
Norwell's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for DeKalb, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
