Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They didn't even let the Two Harbors Agates on the board, marking the Wolverines' second-straight 10-0 shutout. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by ten runs or more this season.

Jacob Coombe made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Coombe was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Coombe is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
