Volleyball Recap: Tuscola Takes a Loss

Tuscola lost against Clinton on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 2-1. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lilly Kurtz paced Tuscola's offense, picking up 18 kills. Kurtz got some help from Sicily Moss and her 24 assists. Kurtz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Tuscola's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Clinton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-18.

Tuscola has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Central A & M on the 18th. As for Clinton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Shelbyville on the 18th.
