Baseball Recap: Altoona Comes Up Short

Altoona and Prescott squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Altoona had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 10-9. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, with their most recent loss being a 8-5 defeat back in May.

Altoona's loss dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Prescott, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-4.

As of now, neither Altoona nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
