Basketball Game Preview: Spartanburg Vikings vs. Charlottesville Black Knights

The Spartanburg Vikings and the Charlottesville Black Knights will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Spartanburg is headed into the match having just posted their closest victory since February 13th on Saturday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 33-31 win from a begrudging Vikings squad. The 33-point effort marked their lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Charlottesville blew past Orange County, posting a 70-26 victory. The Black Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 21 points or more this season.

The win got Spartanburg back to even at 5-5. As for Charlottesville, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
