Soccer Recap: Antigo Comes Up Short

If Antigo was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Crandon on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Red Robins fell 2-0 to the Medford Raiders on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Medford this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

Antigo has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's still a better percentage than their 1-7-1 record this season. As for Medford, the victory got them back to even at 4-4-1.

Looking ahead, Antigo will take on Mosinee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Medford has already played their next matchup (against Rice Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
