With a playoff win on the line, Mohawk rose to the challenge on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Plymouth Big Red with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Warriors have won 12 matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Mohawk has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Plymouth, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-11.

Looking ahead, Mohawk will face off against South Central at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 2.7, the Trojans 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. Plymouth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
