Southmont barely beat Cascade the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mounties put the hurt on the Cadets with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. That's two games straight that Southmont have won by exactly three goals.

They hit Cascade with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Camryn Priebe, Kaelynn Sanburn, and Reva Douglas.

Southmont's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Cascade, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Southmont will venture away from home to challenge Northview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cascade, they will welcome Western Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
