Softball Recap: Fremont Takes a Loss

Fremont fell victim to Oakland and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-0. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Oakland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fremont will face off against rival KIPP King at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Oakland is set to challenge their familiar foe Oakland Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
