Basketball Recap: Van-Far Extends Winning Streak to Three

Van-Far extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Elliott Utterback. The Van-Far Indians came out on top against the Wright City Wildcats by a score of 60-53 on Friday thanks in part to Utterback, who to rack up 30 points and six rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Van-Far's points.

Chloe Zumwalt was another key player, dropping a double-double with 13 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds gave her a new career-high.

Van-Far's victory bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Wright City, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Van-Far does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wright City, they will face off against St. Charles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
