Basketball Game Preview: Garber Wolverines vs. Balko Bison

The Garber Wolverines will head out to square off against the Balko Bison at 7:45 p.m. on Monday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Garber took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Kremlin-Hillsdale by a score of 66-57.

Meanwhile, Balko entered their tilt with Cherokee on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Everything went their way against the Chiefs as they made off with a 64-44 victory. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Chiefs are ranked 380th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Garber has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for Balko, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
