Basketball Recap: Nicolet Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nazareth Academy, Nicolet was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They secured a 66-61 W over the Martin Luther Spartans. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 54-41 victory the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2025.

Nicolet's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Martin Luther, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nicolet will host Slinger at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Owls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 74.27 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Martin Luther, they will challenge Shoreland Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
