Irvine had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Pasadena Bulldogs by a score of 66-57 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Vaqueros sure are getting used to it with their 21st in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Irvine to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cooper Stearns, who almost dropped a triple-double with 22 points, nine rebounds, and 11 assists. The matchup was Stearns' ninth in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jalen Yim, who went 7-for-12 on his way to 21 points.

Irvine pushed their record up to 28-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home. As for Pasadena, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-8.

Irvine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-66 win against Cabrillo on the 18th. Pasadena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
