Softball Game Preview: Forest Hill Falcons vs. Seminole Ridge Hawks

Forest Hill is 0-10 against Seminole Ridge since March of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Falcons will venture away from home to face off against the Hawks at 6:30 p.m. Neither Forest Hill nor Seminole Ridge posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Palm Beach Central hit Forest Hill with a 14-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Falcons came up short against the Broncos, falling 16-1.

Murphie Ockunzzi made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases and one run.

Meanwhile, Seminole Ridge lost 10-2 to Wellington on Tuesday. The Hawks have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Seminole Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Forest Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Forest Hill suffered a grim 17-1 defeat to Seminole Ridge when the teams last played back in March. Can the Falcons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
