Softball Preview: Boulder City Eagles vs. Pahrump Valley Trojans
Boulder City is 9-1 against Pahrump Valley since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will face off against the Trojans at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Boulder City's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Valley as they made off with a 17-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on four straight.

Rhiley Beck made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Baylee Cook was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March of 2024. Eden Gomez also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
Meanwhile, Pahrump Valley waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Miners 15-0.

Pahrump Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .654. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in 11 consecutive games.
