Volleyball Recap: Assumption Takes a Loss

Assumption was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Berwick Panthers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Assumption's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Berwick, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Assumption wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Scotlandville on the 18th. As for Berwick, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Lutcher on the 18th.
