Bellflower has gone a perfect 3-0 against Lynwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. Bellflower will be playing in front of their home fans against Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. Bellflower will be strutting in after a win while Lynwood will be coming in after a defeat.

Bellflower is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Dominguez get on the board and left with a 23-0 victory on Tuesday. The Buccaneers have beaten the Dons the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Dons has come to flipping the script.

Crystal Menchaca was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

In other batting news, Harley Flores was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (two). Amanda Llanos was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Bellflower always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .931. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Lynwood lost 17-5 to Firebaugh on Thursday.

Bellflower's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Lynwood, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Bellflower's way against Lynwood in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Bellflower made off with a 16-6 victory. Will Bellflower repeat their success, or does Lynwood has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
