Football Game Preview: Normandy Vikings vs. University City Lions

The Normandy Vikings will head out to face off against the University City Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Normandy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 26-18 win over Confluence Prep Academy/Grand Center Arts Academy on Saturday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, University City took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 62-14 win over Madison. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four games by 20 points or more so far this season.

University City's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Normandy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Normandy strolled past University City when the teams last played back in September of 2023 by a score of 18-0. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
