Volleyball Preview: Homer-Center Wildcats vs. West Shamokin Wolves

Homer-Center is 1-9 against West Shamokin since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Wildcats will challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Homer-Center comes in on five and West Shamokin on 13.

It was a proper cat-fight when Homer-Center took on River Valley on Monday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 3-1.

Homer-Center had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 13-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-18.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Homer-Center to victory, but perhaps none more so than Taylor Rado, who had 15 digs, 11 kills, and five blocks. That's the most digs Rado has posted over her last seven matchups. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn Yount, who had seven digs and two aces.
