Recap: University Trailblazers vs. Tipton Blue Devils
The University Trailblazers can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 56-7 victory over Tipton at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win University has managed all season.
University's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Charlotte Conyers, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Feeney, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and five blocks.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Tipton struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only an offensive rebound. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as University pulled down 24 offensive rebounds.
University's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Tipton, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-22.
University will take on the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tipton, they will face off against the Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Blackford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
