Softball Recap: New Auburn Takes a Loss

New Auburn extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-3 in the process. They came up short against the Prairie Farm Panthers, falling 18-3. That's two games in a row now that the Trojans have lost by exactly 15 runs.

As for Prairie Farm, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0. They haven't had any issues with New Auburn recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

For Prairie Farm's part, the team relied heavily on Madalyn Larson, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and two triples. The team also got some help courtesy of Adline Jacobson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. New Auburn is set to face off against their familiar foe Bruce at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Prairie Farm will challenge rival Flambeau at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
