Basketball Recap: Western Warriors vs. Cimarron-Memorial Spartans

Western lost against Cimarron-Memorial back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Western Warriors were dealt an 80-51 loss at the hands of the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Spartans are ranked 11th).

Daniel Brown was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 12 boards for Cimarron-Memorial. Those 12 rebounds gave Brown a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Gerald Patterson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
