Basketball Recap: Lowell Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Lowell duked it out withGalileo on Tuesday. The match between the Lowell Cardinals and the Galileo Lions didn't end well, with the Lowell Cardinals falling 55-41. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Galileo's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dean Belayadi led the charge by going 8 for 15 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darryn Wong, who posted 12 points.

Lowell now has a losing record at 3-4. As for Galileo, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Lowell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-49 loss against Napa on the 19th. Galileo has also already played their next contest, a 44-37 defeat against Leland on the 19th.
