Centennial has gone a perfect 9-0 against Corona recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Huskies will challenge the Panthers at 5:45 p.m. Centennial is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.

Centennial came up short against Roosevelt on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Centennial had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Corona lost 3-0 to Santiago on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-11, 25-16.

Corona has been struggling recently as they've lost 16 of their last 17 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Centennial came out on top in a nail-biter against Corona in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
