Basketball Recap: Florence Comes Up Short

Florence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were outmatched by the McGregor Bulldogs and fell 41-11. The Buffaloes were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Florence's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for McGregor, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Florence will take on Johnson City at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Johnson City will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Florence surely won't give up without a fight. As for McGregor, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Holland at 6:00 p.m. McGregor is facing Holland at the right time seeing as Holland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
