Soccer Recap: Chester Takes a Loss

Chester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mid-Carolina Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mid-Carolina this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Wednesday.

Chester's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Mid-Carolina, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-6.

Chester has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Newberry on the 28th. As for Mid-Carolina, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Fairfield Central on the 29th.
