Georgia Christian had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They came out on top against the Thomasville Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Georgia Christian never let Thomasville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 26-24.

Thomasville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Georgia Christian will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sherwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thomasville, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Thomas County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
