The biggest upset of the week belonged to New Brockton, who took down 265th ranked Highland Home, 20-14.
The Gamecocks moved up to 295 from 329 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 2A Region 3. New Brockton climbed the ranks as a result of a 20-14 win over the Flying Squadron.
Elba's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Austin Johnson has thrown for 454 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Cobe Goosby has 15 catches for 250 yards. Darrean Burks leads the league in rushing with 315 yards.
Luverne took down Calhoun 50-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
