Football Recap: Eastlake Starts Season with Win Against Southwest SD

Eastlake took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They never let the Southwest SD Raiders get on the board and left with a 23-0 victory. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Eastlake didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Rowan Eberle led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself. She got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Coming up, Eastlake will challenge Granite Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest SD, they will face off against Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
