Volleyball Recap: Parkview Takes a Loss

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Central Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-15.

Kaleigh Kirk paced Parkview's offense, picking up six kills. Kirk got some help from Kyra Cannon and her 11 assists. Jaida Generette and Abigail Debaca kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Parkview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15-1. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-10-3 record this season.

Parkview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against East Newton on the 4th. As for Central, they will square off against Ozark at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
