Baseball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 20-0 to the Crater Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Tuesday.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Crater, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

While Springfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
