Baseball Recap: Hereford Takes a Loss

If Hereford was feeling good fresh off their 18-1 takedown of Dundalk on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulls came up short against the Catonsville Comets on Monday, falling 11-2. Surprisingly, this marked the Bulls' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Hereford's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Catonsville, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Coming up, Hereford will challenge Dulaney at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Bulls' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Catonsville, they will take on Franklin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
