After a string of nine wins, Ridgeline's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the West Field Longhorns by a score of 5-4. The Riverhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Longhorns earlier this season, when they won 11-0.

Ridgeline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Dahle, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another was Tyson Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Ridgeline's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-2. As for West Field, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Ridgeline will face off against Logan at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ridgeline is facing Logan at the right time seeing as Logan is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for West Field, they will take on Sky View at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
