Baseball Recap: Shepherd Pirates vs. Hardin-Jefferson Hawks
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Shepherd ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks, sneaking past 6-4. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their ten-game losing streak.

Cyrus Martinez was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
