Volleyball Recap: Tolono Unity Takes a Loss

Tolono Unity lost against Mt. Carmel back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rockets fell 2-0 to the Golden Aces.

Mattie Armstrong was the offensive standout of the contest as she had six digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high.

Tolono Unity's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Mt. Carmel, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Tolono Unity didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Clinton on the 9th. As for Mt. Carmel, they will head out on the road to face off against Marshall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Golden Aces surely won't give up without a fight.
