Volleyball Recap: Gladbrook-Reinbeck Takes a Loss

Gladbrook-Reinbeck was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Union Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rebels of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Union, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against H-L-V on the 6th. As for Union, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Grundy Center on the 6th.
