Softball Preview: Bishop's Knights vs. Francis Parker Lancers
Bishop is 10-0 against Francis Parker since March of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Bishop's Knights will head out on the road to take on the Francis Parker Lancers at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bishop's scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. Everything went their way against St. Joseph Academy as Bishop's made off with a 25-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bishop's.
Gabriela Bravo made a splash no matter where she played. She pitched four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Bravo was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Sydney Mafong, who went 4-for-5 with six RBI, two triples, and three runs. Mia Bravo was another key contributor, scoring three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
