Volleyball Recap: Decatur Community's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but Decatur Community unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 2-0 to the Osborne Bulldogs.

Decatur Community couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Osborne a tough time in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 30-28, 25-20.

Decatur Community's offense was headlined by Player #21 and Brylee Minnick, who picked up 11 kills apiece. They got some help from Jori Fortin and her ten assists.

Decatur Community's defeat dropped their record down to 19-17. As for Osborne, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-15 record this season.

Decatur Community will face off against Ellis at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Osborne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
