Baseball Game Preview: Alexander Spartans vs. Belpre Golden Eagles

Alexander is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Belpre a seven-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Alexander Spartans will welcome the Belpre Golden Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Meigs hit Alexander with a 11-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Spartans came up short against the Marauders, falling 17-7.

Mason Morris was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Ray, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double.
