Baseball Recap: Berkshire Comes Up Short

Berkshire lost to Crestwood back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Badgers fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 11-10. Even though they lost, the Badgers' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Sam Barcikoski made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Bear Masink, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Berkshire's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Crestwood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.

While Berkshire had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
