Volleyball Recap: Kennett Takes a Loss

Kennett lost against Notre Dame on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs.

While Kennett ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-18.

Leading Notre Dame to victory were Carlie Shamoun and Claudia Jones. Shamoun had 21 digs and two aces, while Jones had 11 digs and two aces. Shamoun is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Kennett's loss dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Notre Dame, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-11-3.

Coming up, Kennett will host Holcomb at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Notre Dame does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
