Volleyball Recap: Bryant's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Bryant had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eldon Mustangs on Saturday.

Bryant can attribute much of their success to Kyla Knox, who had 11 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave Knox a new career-high.

Despite the defeat, Eldon had strong showings from Jaidyn Shelden, who had 13 digs, and Sarah Tompkins, who had seven digs. Shelden has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Bryant's victory bumped their record up to 5-9-3. As for Eldon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Bryant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Nixa on the 20th. As for Eldon, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Boonville on the 22nd.
