Soccer Recap: Saluda Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Saluda challenged Brookland-Cayce on Monday. The Tigers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats. Saluda have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Jose Perez, who's now up to two this season.

Saluda's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Brookland-Cayce, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Saluda has already played their next match, a 1-1 defeat against Strom Thurmond on the 22nd. As for Brookland-Cayce, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 win against Airport on the 16th.
