Volleyball Recap: Stockton Finds Playoff Glory Versus Galena + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Stockton rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Galena Pirates. The win was nothing new for the Blackhawks as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Leading Stockton to victory were Natalee Sullivan and Kaydra Wright. Sullivan had 12 digs and four assists, while Wright hit 66.7% for six kills and 28 assists and four digs. Wright is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 38 games she's played.

Galena's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zoe Blaum, who had nine digs.

Stockton's victory bumped their record up to 34-5. As for Galena, they moved to 31-7 with that loss, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Stockton nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
