Lynn Welborn Game Report: vs Robinson

Marshall took down Robinson on Tuesday, a win that might not have happened without Lynn Welborn's standout performance. Welborn scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her six plate appearances. The effort marked the most stolen bases she has had since back in April of 2024.

Welborn and Marshall will challenge Effingham at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Welborn has dominated as far as stolen bases are concerned (she's averaged 1 per game this season), but she's got her work cut out for her considering the Hearts have only allowed 1.33 per game this season.
